Tired but hopeful

2hrs of sleep ytd
My heart nearly failed
Age is really catching up on me. Hah.
Interim crit went not so well and not so bad.
Also don't know what the tutors really want me to do.
Nevertheless, it's over for now. Though the bigger nightmare is not over.

Holy Week passed by in just one week...duh.
Never been as fulfilling as this year.
Fulfilled my Holy Week resolution to say rosary everyday.
Really calmed my mind before I hit the sack every night.
Holy Thurs, simple but meaningful Mass, turnout at SFA was surprisingly large.
Fr Michal as usual, very cute.
Thank God for blessing us with this zealous priest to our almost dying chuch. Thank you Fr David for "bringing" this great friend of yours here.
Good Friday Service. A unique presentation of the passion. A unique and spiritual experience.
Sang "Behold the Cross" for Veneration and this song really "nailed" me for this Holy Wk, even up till now.
Easter Vigil. A very profound and special experience. The darkness and the light. Death and resurrection. Though it's 3hrs long, it doesn't really felt like it. Loved the Gloria part.

Signing off with this song that really nailed me down. The lyrics are pretty melodrama and cinematic, but tt's precisely the point. It's awesome. =)

Behold the Cross (by Bob Hurd)
Behold the Cross on which was hung
Life's very Lord, God's only Son
Mary's own babe so cold and so still
Helpless before her on Calvary hill.

Nails in his hands, nails in his feet
A traitor kiss upon his cheek
And his pierced heart now broken in two
Love crucified for me and for you.

Eyes that won't see, ears that won't hear
Lips that deny the friend once so dear
Slowly he turns and captures your eye
Then passes on to Calvary to die.

Behold the Cross of Christ in our midst:
All those who bear his wounds in their flesh.
Suffering for crimes of mercy and peace,
Signs of the kingdom on Calvary street.
