Walking up the slope of Jln Merbok at 8pm.
The noise of the traffic and of the city life disappeared behind me as I approach the Canossian Convent retreat centre. It's really literally a getaway for a night, to be surrounded by mostly forested area and a view out to Bt Batok and Bt Timah Hill. The strong breeze was unceasing. Shiokness.
The River of Life. Took us till about 1.30am to finish. It's really worthwhile as we get to know each other better and had very heartfelt sharing. 2.30am lights out.(after a few moments of interrogation from Joachim) Most exciting episode before we sleep...the police were combing the forested area for the WANTED guy. It's quite a sight.
Day 2. Drizzle. The hills were shrouded with clouds. How nice! Wish i could stay 1 more day.
Enaegram and acknowledging our different gifts from the Holy Spirit. Really discovered about my inner self much deeply and came to some great realization and how i could move on from there. Also got to know my core team members way of working and their gifts. Way to go! I'm sure this short retreat is not gonna be put to waste.
HAPPY 21st Birthday to Jeremy!Semester break came to an end on 2nd Mar 08. Another 1mths plus of my undergraduate education before I embark on another year of postgraduate Masters. Milestones, memories, hurdles, prospects, embarkation, departure, reflections...
