好久好久。。。

promised myself for quite a while to write a blog entry in Chinese...yoo hoo!!..here we go.

...

Air-conditioned environment
Minimal noise level
Air seemed still
Drowned and surrounded by a realm of knowledge
Looked out of the library
Clear blue sky in the backdrop
People and cars passing by
At an amazing speed
It's 6.50pm!
People rushing home
People taking their time to browse through the books
Some just waiting for time to pass
School kids, young couples
Blasting music from the ear phones
A crazy dichotomy and juxtaposition of activities.

Jurong Regional Library
New environment that points to the future
Sitting on a brand new leather bench which borne a pen-knife slit
Childhood memories rushed back to my mind
The once beautiful grand atrium space
And grand stairway that leads to the upper floor
Which points towards higher level of learning of Adults
The nostalgic children's library now tucked in the basement
Many things to reminisce about
The feeling was great
TO be brought back to childhood again
As i'm turning 25 in May.

"Father Time is not always a hard parent, and, though he tarries for none of his children, often lays his hand lightly upon those who have used him well; making them old men and women inexorably enough, but leaving their hearts and spirits young and in full vigour. With such people the grey head is but the impression of the old fellow's hand in giving them his blessing, and every wrinkle but a notch in the quiet calendar of a well-spent life. "- Charles Dickens.

I've always feared getting older but being in your 20s will probably be one of the best times of your life, believe me. After all, as Picasso said "youth has no age".
